We welcome fare and provision availability inquires. We do accept advance email orders for all events. Because it is impossible to participate at every event we are invited to attend, we can make, prior to event, arrangements to supply regiments, followers and families with a variety of our fresh baked fare. We offer interpretive and affordable programs which include educational, demonstration and the hands-on approach for all ages regardless of baking experience. Our programming can be varying sessions of a few hours to several days, as we like to work creatively with sites to fill needs or add interest to activity schedules focusing on themes. Sites may choose from our programming or we can work, by special requests, with a site to develop a unique specially modified program. Our program goals are to educate, guide and involve participates while making history fun. This helps participates have a better understanding of the challenges our ancestors endured and to be able to walk away with a deeper respect of the efforts of daily life. Our site goal is to have the participates leave the experience inspired, with more desire to learn about, 18th century history, an aspect of the chosen theme or period-style foods.Oven Consulting, Training & Rental Services
We enjoy visiting and exploring historic sites, especially those with bake ovens or known to have had bake ovens. We continue to understand the challenges some sites have with baking. To use the oven or not to use the bake oven – that is a very important question. Once that question is answered, there are many more! Oven Rental Services are available, for special events, with advance reservations.
